Give the money to the people

It really gives me a wedgie when I hear that our wonderful elected officals in Washington want to give $850 billion to the poor companies that lay-off their employees so the upper management can take $100,000 dollar get-away weekends.

Don’t you think the economy would get a better jump start if the average person got some of that money?
I’m not running for president (yet), but I have what I think is a good idea.

There are 305,459,164 people in the U.S. as I write. Divide that into the $850,000,000,000 and you get $2782.66 per person. With an average household of 2.59 people, that is $7207.18 per family! Just think what a buying frenzy that would generate!
