I can’t help but comment on the headline in the Nov. 8th paper. “County, country differ/ Forsyth backs Romney as turnout at 80 percent.” I had to find a Gainesville Times in order to see a more respectful response to the results of our presidential election.
Your newspaper should be ashamed. Bragging about how many voters voted for a losing candidate only tells me that your news priorities are sadly biased. What does this tell the children of this county about the process of electing a president and how we should be proud of the decisions our fellow citizens have made?
Our children deserve better and our county deserves a better newspaper.
