Series history: First meeting.

What to know: The Bulldogs are trying to avoid their worst season since going 1-9 in 2009. A big night from two seniors who will be playing their final high school football game would help. Quarterback Michael Branigan and wide receiver Jeremiah Jones teamed up nicely last week in a 48-21 loss to Northview. Branigan passed for 139 yards and two touchdowns, both of which went to Jones who finished with four catches for 118 yards.

Let’s introduce the Bulldogs’ opponent: Osborne has a 26.9 winning percentage (151-413-4) since opening in 1957, according to the Georgia High School Football Historians Association. This year, Osborne has a respectable quarterback for Central to worry about – Craig Robinson, who rushed for 195 yards and three touchdowns on 29 carries and was 4-of-9 passing for 164 yards and one touchdown in Osborne’s 34-28 loss to Sprayberry last Friday.
