Forsyth Central High School has announced that Bradley Fowler will be its news head boys lacrosse coach.

According to Central athletic director Mike Woodard, Fowler has previous lacrosse coaching experience at nearby Cherokee High School, where he helped start the lacrosse program and was an assistant football coach.

He also served as a physical education and health teacher at the Canton school.

“I’m excited to get started,” Fowler said. “Lacrosse carries over from other sports … and I know Woodard has worked hard to get [the program] started.

“I’ve coached track, baseball, golf, soccer and basketball, so I’m anxious to be a part of another sport.”

Fowler will replace Mike Hudson.
