Former Lambert tight end and defensive end Alex Snyder announced on Sunday that he had committed to play college football at Lehigh, a member of the Patriot League in the Football Championship Subdivision.

Snyder was named All-County second team in 2016, his junior season, when he helped lead the Longhorns to a region title. As a senior, he had 20 receptions for 282 yards, averaging more than 14 yards per catch, and had 22 tackles on the  defensive side of the ball. Lambert finished 3-7 and missed the playoffs in 2017.
