Lambert punter/kicker Bryce Christensen announced on Monday night that he had committed to play football at Georgia Southern.

Christensen was named All-FCN first team as a kicker and punter and second team all-state as a punter for his efforts with the Longhorns this fall. He made 11 of 14 field goals, including a 48-yarder against Mountain View. Christensen also averaged 41.8 yards per punt and downed nine inside the 20.

Christensen, who also received interest from schools such as Air Force, is the third county player from this senior class to commit to an FBS football program. West Forsyth tight end Ben Bresnahan signed with Vanderbilt and Lambert cornerback Kenneth Dicks III signed with Wake Forest.
