2017 Forsyth County News All-County Softball Team
Player/Pitcher of the Year: Kassidy Krupit, Lambert, Sr.
The Delaware signee was a terror at the plate, hitting .500 with 14 home runs, while going 15-10 with a 1.58 ERA over 176 2/3 innings in the circle to lead the Longhorns back to the GHSA Softball Championships for the second straight season.
Coach of the Year: Brooks Youngblood, Lambert
The Longhorns couldn’t duplicate 2016’s perfect region record, but Youngblood led his team to a runner-up finish in Region 5-7A and then to the GHSA Softball Championships for the second straight season.
