Offensive Player of the Year 

Ze’Vian Capers, Denmark

County’s top receiving threat signed earlier this month to play football at Auburn. Had 922 yards and 10 touchdowns on 45 catches.

Defensive Player of the Year 

Eli Orr, West Forsyth

County’s top tackler and a key cog in stingy West Forsyth defense. Finished with 118 total tackles and 14 tackles for loss a season after registering just one.

Coach of the Year 

Robert Craft, North Forsyth

North Forsyth head coach led Raiders to the second round of the playoffs for the first time in 14 years and the team’s first winning season since 2013.

First team offense

QB Aaron McLaughlin, Denmark, Jr.

Auburn commit completed 134 of 220 passes for 1,997 yards and 17 touchdowns. Also had nine rushing scores.

RB Jordan Brunson, Denmark, Sr.

Virginia Tech signee finished with 95 carries for 670 yards and 10 touchdowns.

RB Jared Lucero, North Forsyth, Jr.

Compiled 868 yards and six touchdowns on 166 carries despite missing the final three games with an injury.

WR Colby Cruz, South Forsyth, Sr.

Dynamic senior led the team with 868 yards and six touchdowns on 44 receptions. Also scored twice on special teams and defended 16 passes and had two interceptions on defense.

WR Nicky Dalmolin, North Forsyth, Sr.

Duke signee holds school record for career receptions (171) and career receiving yards (2,068). Finished senior season with 58 catches for 797 yards and 12 touchdowns.

WR Casey Cowart, West Forsyth, Sr.

Logged a team-high 711 yards receiving and eight scores on 50 receptions. Averaged 14.2 yards per reception.

TE Anthony Herock, North Forsyth, Sr.

Caught 45 passes for 577 yards and five touchdowns. Also a solid contributor on defense, recording 14 tackles, including one tackle for loss, three sacks and an interception.

OL Mason Butcher, North Forsyth, Sr.

Allowed just one sack in 304 passing attempts at left tackle for the Raiders. Had 34 pancake blocks and graded out at 87 percent.

OL Robby Watson, Forsyth Central, So.

Graded out at an impressive 95 percent and did not allow a sack in 67 pass attempts.

OL Ethan Patrick, South Forsyth, Jr.

Graded out at 89 percent and delivered 51 pancake blocks.

OL Bryce Myers, South Forsyth, Jr.

Registered a team-high 52 pancake blocks and graded out at 85 percent.

OL Dylan Fairchild, West Forsyth, Jr.

Athletic offensive lineman helped pave the way for a West Forsyth offense that racked up more than 2,300 yards of total offense.

ATH Jake Bretz, Forsyth Central, Sr.

Senior filled up the stat sheet for the Bulldogs, logging 25 tackles while picking off two passes and recovering two fumbles. Also had 20 catches for 250 yards and four touchdowns, and returned two kickoffs for touchdowns.

K Alex Wilson, West Forsyth, Jr.

Junior hit on 9 of 10 field goal attempts, including a long of 46 yards. Also converted 14 of 17 extra-point attempts. Averaged 46.5 yards per kickoff.

First team defense

DL Alex Szakacs, Forsyth Central, Sr.

Senior was a terror along Bulldogs’ defensive line, logging 53 tackles, seven sacks and three forced fumbles.

DL Arthur Marsden, Denmark, Sr.

Team leader in sacks with seven. Also had 74 tackles, including seven tackles for loss and three forced fumbles.

DL Taft Hilton, South Forsyth, Jr.

Had 49 tackles, including two tackles for loss, four sacks, nine QB hurries and three forced fumbles.

DL Mitch Weber, Forsyth Central, Sr.

Senior returned from injury to make 32 tackles, including five tackles for loss, two sacks, five QB hurries, three pass break-ups, two fumble recoveries, an interception and two defensive touchdowns.

LB Jack Hughes, West Forsyth, Sr.

Marist signee posted 70 tackles, including 11 stops for loss, adding three sacks, one interception, a forced fumble and a pass break-up.

LB Zach Burchfield, Denmark, Sr.

Team leader in tackles with 94. Also had eight tackles for loss, six sacks and a forced fumble.

LB Keegan Toner, South Forsyth, Sr.

Led team with 10 tackles for loss, adding 73 total tackles, 4 ½ sacks, 10 QB hurries and a forced fumble.

LB Jack Tucker, North Forsyth, Sr.

Tallied 90 tackles, including 11 tackles for loss, three sacks, two QB hurries, three pass break-ups, two forced fumbles and a blocked punt.

LB CJ Ford, Denmark, Sr.

Elon signee made 78 tackles, including seven tackles for loss, two sacks and two fumble recoveries.

DB Jumel Lewis, North Forsyth, Jr.

Picked off four passes and recorded 7 pass break-ups. Also added 28 tackles, two sacks and a tackle for loss.

DB Justin Bradford, Denmark, Jr.

Team leader in interceptions with five. Also broke up three passes, made 41 tackles, including two tackles for loss, recovered a fumble and scored two defensive touchdowns.

DB Dalton Tjong, West Forsyth, Jr.

Team leader in interceptions, picking off five passes and defending five more. Also recovered a pair of fumbles and forced one and racked up 98 total tackles.

DB Bryce Allen, West Forsyth, So.

Sophomore impressed with 16 pass break-ups and two interceptions, adding 47 tackles and one tackle for loss.

P Daba Fofana, West Forsyth, Jr.

Led the county with 36.5 yards per punt, with eight punts landing inside the 20-yard line.

Second team offense

QB Brady Meitz, North Forsyth, Jr.

Enjoyed a breakout junior season, completing 180 of 304 passes for 2,105 yards and 22 touchdowns, with 10 interceptions. Also rushed for 221 yards and seven touchdowns on 111 carries.

RB Tre Green, South Forsyth, Jr.

Finished with 525 yards and 12 touchdowns on 131 carries despite missing time with injury.

RB Daba Fofana, West Forsyth, Jr.

Led Wolverines with 535 yards and four touchdowns on 121 carries. Also caught 15 passes for 48 yards.

WR Kojo Antwi, Lambert, So.

Enjoyed a productive sophomore campaign, catches 48 passes for 679 yards and six touchdowns. Also returned seven kickoffs for 218 yards.

WR Ethan Massey, Pinecrest, Sr.

Pinecrest’s top receiving threat, Massey caught 40 passes for 1,079 yards and 14 touchdowns

WR Braden Bamburowski, Lambert, Jr.

Junior caught 36 passes for 426 yards, adding five touchdowns.

TE Devin McGlockton, South Forsyth, Jr.

Athletic tight end had 39 receptions for 514 yards and six touchdowns.

OL Will Barton, North Forsyth, Sr.

Starting center and long snapper allowed just two sacks in 304 passing attempts while grading out at 89 percent and delivering 22 pancake blocks.

OL Harrison Stang, Lambert, Sr.

Finished with highest grade along Lambert offensive line (92 percent) and had a team-high 38 pancake blocks.

OL Bryce Cockfield, South Forsyth, Sr.

Finished with a team-high 90-percent grade on assignments, adding 17 pancake blocks.

OL James Fehr, South Forsyth, Jr.

Senior captain graded out at 84 percent and tallied 45 pancake blocks.

OL Noah Mallard, Denmark, Sr.

Senior with multiple Division I offers helped paved the way for a dynamic Denmark offense that piled up nearly 4,000 yards of total offense.

ATH Cameron Schurr, South Forsyth, Sr.

Versatile senior caught 47 passes for 742 yards and seven touchdowns while also completing 10 of 19 passes for 195 yards and two touchdowns.

K Parker Hannon, Denmark, Sr.

Reached the end zone on 36 of 56 kickoffs. Also finished 2 for 3 on field goal attempts and 43 for 45 on extra points.

Second team defense

DL Allan Reyes, South Forsyth, Sr.

Had 49 tackles, including two tackles for loss, four sacks, nine quarterback hurries and three forced fumbles.

DL Aiden Phillips, West Forsyth, Sr.

Senior had 30 tackles, including nine tackles for loss, three sacks and five QB hurries.

DL Max Bryant, North Forsyth, Jr.

Junior had 48 tackles, including four tackles for loss, 1 ½ sacks and five QB hurries.

DL Caanan Clark, Forsyth Central, Jr.

Junior had 46 tackles, adding five sacks and five pass break-ups.

LB Joey Kiernan, Pinecrest, Sr.

Finished with 108 tackles, 15 tackles for loss, three forced fumbles, four fumbles recoveries and a blocked field goal despite missing time with injury.

LB Nick Carozza, Denmark, Sr.

Austin Peay signee had 42 tackles, including seven tackles for loss and a sack.

LB Brandon Redecker, Forsyth Central, Sr.

Team leader in tackles with 88, adding 10 tackles for loss and an interception.

LB Jax Weaver, South Forsyth, Sr.

Posted a team-high 99 tackles, adding five tackles for loss, 11 QB hurries, two forced fumbles and an interception.

LB Patrick Corrigan, North Forsyth, So.

Sophomore burst onto the scene in 2019, recording a team-high 13 tackles for loss while adding 69 total tackles, five sacks, five QB hurries, an interception, a pass break-up, a fumble recovery and two forced fumbles.

DB Jalen Beasley, Denmark, Sr.

Senior made 58 tackles and broke up five passes.

DB Miles Hartsfield, North Forsyth, Sr.

Intercepted three passes while breaking up three more. Also had 34 tackles, including two tackles for loss and a fumble recovery.

DB Anthony Newton, Lambert, Sr.

Senior tallied 38 tackles and one pass break-up on defense. Also had 189 yards and three touchdowns on 19 receptions.

DB Tyler Cunningham, North Forsyth, Sr.

Made 18 tackles and broke up five passes.

P Ty Sherman, Forsyth Central, Sr.

Averaged 34.2 yards per punt and also made all 23 extra points.
