Forsyth County had five seniors named to the Georgia Cheerleading Coaches Association’s All-State Team this past Saturday.
Lambert’s Dani Spera, South Forsyth’s Madi Brock and Sydney Rayner and West Forsyth’s Brittney Baker and Channing Bridges all earned all-state recognition at the GCCA Cheerleader of the Year competition this past Saturday at Columbus State University.
The group was first named among the top 40 cheerleaders in the state based on academics and community involvement this summer. They then competed Saturday to be one of 16 cheerleaders named to the all-state team based on performance and interview scores.
All five will be up for GCCA Cheerleader of the Year, which will be announced at the GHSA State Cheerleading Championship in Columbus this November.
