To have five high school football teams from Forsyth County reach the state playoffs, and three advance past at least the quarterfinals (Horizon Christian, Pinecrest Academy, South Forsyth), takes talented players.

Like South wide receiver Jalen Camp, who is committed to Georgia Tech. Or Lambert offensive lineman Sean Bailey, who is committed to Cincinnati.

Soon enough, they’ll be playing in the cathedrals of college football on Saturdays (mostly), but they have predecessors.
