The Forsyth Force won the sixth grade Youth Basketball of America state championship.

The team qualified to play in the 2013 YBOA National Championship in Kissimmee, Fla., on July 7-13.

Forsyth Force Basketball has a sixth and eighth grade team in the YBOA comprised of players from Pinecrest Academy, Riverwatch Middle School, South Middle, Lakeside Middle, Vickery Middle and North Middle.

Forsyth Force Basketball is the development of the complete basketball player with a focus on individual skills, game experiences, character and sportsmanship with a strong sense of community.

The organization plans to add more sixth and eighth grade teams next season as well as add fifth and seventh grade teams.
