FRIDAY NIGHT STARS: Carozza's busy game keys Denmark to blowout win

Here are some of the best Forsyth County high school football performances from this past Friday.

THE BEST

Nick Carozza, Denmark

Junior linebacker/tight end had four receptions for 151 yards and three touchdowns, as well as a fumble recovery, in the Danes’ win against Cherokee Bluff.

Zach Ogbogu, Lambert

Sophomore running back rushed six times for 105 yards and two touchdowns and had a 42-yard touchdown catch in Lambert’s win against Chattahoochee. Also had three solo tackles at defensive back.

Honus Wagner, North Forsyth

Senior tailback/strong safety had 222 rushing yards on 22 carries in the Raiders’ win at Gainesville. Played 100 total snaps: 55 on offense and 45 on defense.

Ben Whitlock, Denmark

Junior quarterback was 13-17 with 322 yards passing and five touchdown throws in the Danes’ win against Cherokee Bluff.

Noah Mallard, Denmark

Junior offensive lineman paved the way for a scoring attack that put up 43 points in just over two quarters in the Danes’ win against Cherokee Bluff.

Ryan Difazio, Pinecrest Academy

Senior quarterback was 18-31 with 391 yards and two touchdown passes in the Paladins’ loss to Fellowship Christian.

Carter Mullikin, North Forsyth

Senior quarterback was 13-24 with 163 passing yards and 41 rushing yards. Led the Raiders on a game-winning drive with under two minutes to go in their win at Gainesville.

Nicky Dalmolin, North Forsyth

Junior receiver caught six passes for 111 yards in the Raiders’ win at Gainesville.

Charlie Aiken, North Forsyth

Senior receiver caught six passes for 52 yards and had game-winning touchdown pass with under a minute to go in the Raiders’ win at Gainesville.

Andrew Hill, South Forsyth

Senior linebacker had 13 tackles and half a sack in the War Eagles’ loss at Blessed Trinity.

Luis Gonzalez, South Forsyth

Senior defensive lineman had seven tackles, including one for a loss, and half a sack in the War Eagles’ loss at Blessed Trinity.

Landon Sims, South Forsyth

Senior strong safety had eight tackles and three quarterback pressures in the War Eagles’ loss at Blessed Trinity.

Nathan Smith, Lambert

Senior linebacker had eight solo tackles and chipped in on nine more, plus a tackle for loss, a sack, an interception and a pass break-up in the Longhorns’ win against Chattahoochee.

Harrison Stang, Lambert

Junior offensive lineman graded out at 92 percent with seven knockdowns in the Longhorns’ win against Chattahoochee.

Gallil Guillaume, Lambert

Senior defensive end had three solo tackles and assisted on five with two tackles for loss, one sack and a pass break-up. Also rushed for two touchdowns in the Longhorns’ win against Chattahoochee.
