Here are some of the best Forsyth County high school football performances from this past Friday.

THE BEST

Gallil Guillaume, Lambert

Senior defensive end had six solo tackles with four sacks and forced and recovered a fumble in the Longhorns’ shutout win at Peachtree Ridge.

The South Forsyth defensive line of Luis Gonzalez, Jamal Camp, Trevor Patrick and Peyton Kelly

The War Eagles’ group of four seniors shut out South Gwinnett’s offense in a 21-7 win, holding the Comets to 43 yards rushing on 25 attempts and combining for six sacks, seven tackles for loss, 12 QB pressures and a recovered fumble.

Patrick Sullivan, Pinecrest Academy

Senior running back ran for 176 yards and two touchdowns on 21 carries in the Paladins’ win over Athens Academy, the team’s first in regulation since 2016 and the first of head coach Terance Mathis’ tenure.

Junior linebacker had 12 tackles and force a fumble in the Danes’ win at Forsyth Central.

Nick Carozza, Denmark

Junior linebacker had 10 tackles, including three for a loss, in the Danes’ win at Forsyth Central.

Andrew Hill, South Forsyth

Senior linebacker had 13 tackles, six quarterback pressure in the War Eagles’ win against South Gwinnett.

C.J. Ford, South Forsyth

Junior linebacker had nine tackles, five quarterback pressures in the War Eagles’ win against South Gwinnett.

Drew Morris, South Forsyth

Senior quarterback ran for 64 yards and two touchdowns and threw for 89 yards in the War Eagles’ win against South Gwinnett.

Stephon Bland, West Forsyth

Senior running back bounced back sickness to rush for 112 yards on 21 carries in the Wolverines’ loss to Roswell.

Casey Cowart, West Forsyth

Junior receiver (and backup quarterback) had two catches for 61 yards and a touchdown in the Wolverines’ loss to Roswell.

Abraham Camara, West Forsyth

Senior safety had 13 tackles, including 12 solo, in the Wolverines’ loss to Roswell.

Eli Orr, West Forsyth

Junior linebacker contributed on 17 tackles in the Wolverines’ loss to Roswell.

Joey Kiernan, Pinecrest Academy

Junior linebacker had six tackles, with two for a loss, and forced a fumble in the Paladins’ win at Athens Christian.

Colby Mangan, Pinecrest Academy

Senior safety/receiver had three tackles, returned an interception for a touchdown and caught a touchdown in the Paladins’ win at Athens Christian.

Austin McKenzie, Forsyth Central

Senior linebacker had 11 tackles and broke up two passes in the Bulldogs’ loss to Denmark.

Tristen Rose, Forsyth Central

Senior safety had nine tackles and an interception in the Bulldogs’ loss to Denmark.
