Forsyth County had seven players selected to the Georgia Girls Lacrosse All-State Teams that was released Tuesday.
Pinecrest Academy and West Forsyth had three players apiece selected, while Lambert had one.
Nika Brown led the way for the Lady Paladins, making the Class A-AAAAA second team as a defender, while Molly Dankowski and Sarah DiFazio were honorable mention selections as midfielders. The trio led the Lady Paladins to a 9-7 record and within one game of reaching the state playoffs for the first time in school history in just the program’s second season.
Allie Fagg led the way for the Lady Wolverines, making the Class AAAAAA second team as a defender after a season in which she had 39 groundballs and 32 caused turnovers to go along with seven goals and three assists. Sarah Grady and Madison Mueller were honorable mention selections as attack. The seniors accounted for 107 and 123 totals points, respectively, in helping West go 13-5, win a fourth straight Forsyth Cup and reach the state playoffs.
Morgan Berman was Lambert’s lone all-state selection. The Winthrop verbal commit and sophomore goalie was an honorable mention selection after helping the Lady Longhorns go 10-7.
