GIRLS LACROSSE

Sequoyah 16, North Forsyth 11

The Raiders fell to 5-5 overall with their loss to the Chiefs on Thursday.

BOYS LACROSSE

Forsyth Central 9, Gainesville 1

The Bulldogs improved to 6-3 overall with their Thursday victory over the Red Elephants.

Buford 10, Pinecrest Academy 6

Pinecrest took its fifth loss of the season on Thursday against the Wolves, falling to 5-5 overall.

Collins Hill 9, North Forsyth 4

The Raiders took their fifth loss of the season against the Eagles on Thursday, dropping their overall record to 5-5. Dane Tyler, Andrew Dykes, Chris Smith and Jackson LaVangie all scored for North.

West Forsyth 10, North Atlanta 1

West moved to 6-5 overall with their win over the Grizzlies on Thursday night.

BASEBALL

Milton 7, Lambert 0

On Friday, the Longhorns fell behind the Eagles in the second inning and never came close to evening it up, falling to 5-14 overall and 3-4 in Region 5-7A play. Connor Toland, Garrett Hollenbeck, Kyle Meyers, Nate Gabbert and Jacob Keenan all recorded hits for Lambert.

Denmark 3, Flowery Branch 2

The Danes earned their second Region 7-4A victory of the season in walk-off fashion on Friday night, with an eighth inning error at second base bringing in Gray Wilson from second. Wilson led Denmark with a 2-for-3 night with two runs scored, while Matthew Cassandra and Nic Ferrer totaled an RBI reach. The Danes improved to 7-11 overall and 2-4 in region play with the victory.

Pinecrest Academy 12, Fellowship Christian 0

Behind Patrick O’Rourke’s seven strikeout complete game effort, the Paladins dispatched Fellowship on Friday to improve their overall mark to 8-7 and improved to 8-2 in their region. Pinecrest led throughout, with Caleb Bohn leading the way at the plate with a 3-for-3, six-RBI night. He hit two home runs against Fellowship, one of them being a grand slam during a 10-run seventh inning.

BOYS SOCCER

Denmark 3, Cherokee 1

The Danes earned their first home win in school history Friday night against the Warriors, improving to 2-7-1 on the year. Jonathan Kobby scored two goals for Denmark, while Georgie Manoj scored one.

Pinecrest Academy 1, Providence Christian 0

The Paladins edged Providence on Friday night to overall and region records to 8-4, 3-2.

Pinecrest Academy 4, Providence Christian 0

Pinecrest’s girls improved to 9-2 overall and 2-0 in region play with their win over Providence.
