Forsyth Central 6, Cambridge 3

MILTON – Ethan Hankins was dominant over 6 2/3 innings to give the Bulldogs a Region 7-AAAAA victory Wednesday on the road and clinch the best-of-three season series with the Bears.

Hankins allowed two earned runs and struck nine for Central (4-1, 2-0), while Alex Andrew got the save.

Robbie Repasz had two RBI, Taylor Bayman and Luke Sutko had two hits apiece and Hunter Joyner scored two runs.

Lambert 7, Hillgrove 3

Harrison LeBlanc had three RBI as the Longhorns earned a non-region victory Wednesday at home.

Daniel Mickelson added two RBI for Lambert (3-3), while Josh McAllister, Michael Raiano and Jake Tomelevage each had two hits.

North Forsyth 4, Milton 1

MILTON – A late-inning outburst helped the Raiders earned a non-region victory Wednesday on the road.

Down 1-0 going into the top of the seventh, North (4-2) scored four runs to take the lead it wouldn’t relinquish.

Bailey Gerstner got the win for the Raiders, while Cory Campbell, Trevor Rhys and Gerstner each had two hits.

Collins Hill 8, South Forsyth 3

SUWANEE – Brett Graczyk went 2-for-2 with a double but it wasn’t enough as the War Eagles dropped a non-region game Wednesday on the road to the No. 2-ranked Eagles.

Landon Sims got the loss for South (5-1), allowing three runs (two earned) on seven hits with five walks while striking out two in four innings.

Alex Andronica went 2-for-4, while Matt Cunningham and Max Schmal both had RBIs.


South Forsyth 2, Chattahoochee 1

JOHNS CREEK – Nikki Bario had a goal and an assist as the Lady War Eagles earned a Region 6-AAAAAA victory Wednesday on the road.

Lauren Kelly scored the other goal for No. 4-ranked South (6-0, 2-0).
