North Forsyth 50, Archer 46

LAWRENCEVILLE – Catherine Shope had 22 points and three steals as the Raiders earned a big non-region victory Tuesday on the road.

Cassie Markle added eight points and 10 rebounds for North, which trailed 30-29 entering the fourth quarter but pulled away to defeat the Tigers, a Class 7A state semifinalist last season.

Caroline Martin also had seven points and six rebounds, while Kate Perryman had five blocks and grabbed seven rebounds.

Fellowship Christian 53, Pinecrest Academy 50

ROSWELL – Jo Jo Clark and Regina Metz each scored 17 points but it wasn’t enough as the Paladins dropped a Region 6-1A game Tuesday on the road.

Pinecrest almost overcame a big night from Fellowship guard Cameron Swartz. The Colorado signee had a game-high 34 points.

Lanier 42, West Forsyth 28

BUFORD – Nicole Toole had 10 points in the Wolverines’ non-region loss Tuesday on the road.

Maggie Quincy added six points for West, while Kassidy Kimbro had five points.

Archer 71, North Forsyth 41

LAWRENCEVILLE – Michael Ray Hyams and Jonathan Pefanis scored eight points in the Raiders’ non-region loss Tuesday on the road.

Kaleb Justice added seven points for North.

Fellowship Christian 57, Pinecrest Academy 43

ROSWELL – Caleb Bohn had 14 points for the Paladins in a Region 6-1A loss Tuesday on the road.

Lanier 63, West Forsyth 56

BUFORD – Broc Bidwell had a team-high 18 points in the Wolverines’ non-region loss Tuesday on the road.

Terrence Taylor Jr. added 13 points for West, which shot just 34 percent from the floor. Payton Aiken had 10 points.
