North Forsyth's girls basketball team secured a No. 1 seed in next week's region tournament Friday with a dominant 75-10 win against Milton.
The Raiders carried a 42-4 lead into halftime before winning their 16th game in a row.
Junior Lilly Bales scored a game-high 18 points, while sophomore Ali Jones had 15 points, and senior Caroline Martin and sophomore Anna Gliatta each finished with 10 points.
North Forsyth (23-2, 9-1 Region 5-7A) is back in action Wednesday at the region tournament at Forsyth Central.
Forsyth Central 62, Lambert 34
Forsyth Central delivered its fourth win in five games Friday, sweeping the season series with Lambert with a 62-34 win.
Senior Ansley Carver knocked down four 3-pointers to lead the Bulldogs with 14 points, while senior Ajorgbor finished with 13 points and eight rebounds.
The Bulldogs (17-7, 7-3 Region 5-7A) will enter next week’s region tournament as the No. 3 seed.
Milton 73, North Forsyth 59
North Forsyth ended its regular season Friday with a 73-59 setback at Milton.
Senior Cory Seitz scored a team-high 19 points for the Raiders, while senior Justin Costello and freshman Matthew Rouse each added 10 points.
North Forsyth (6-20, 1-10 Region 5-7A) finishes in sixth place in Region 5-7A.
West Forsyth 64, Milton 33
West Forsyth had 10 players score at least one point Tuesday, as the Wolverines breezed past Milton, 64-33.
Sophomore Calie Thrower led the way for the Wolverines, scoring 20 points, while senior Maggie Quincy had 16 points.
North Forsyth 57, Lambert 24
North Forsyth had three players in double digits Tuesday, as the Raiders blew out Lambert, 57-24.
Seniors Caroline Martin, Ansley Allen and McCall Thomas each had 10 points.
Milton 69, West Forsyth 53
Milton jumped out to an early lead Tuesday, using a 38-22 first-half lead to pull away from West Forsyth, as the Wolverines fell 69-53.
Lambert 73, North Forsyth 59
Jackson Greene logged a double-double for the Longhorns on Tuesday, finishing with 17 points, 10 rebounds and five blocks as Lambert topped North Forsyth, 73-59.
Senior Justin Costello led the Raiders with 20 points, while senior Cory Seitz chipped in 18 points.
