North Forsyth 20, Alpharetta 2

ALPHARETTA – Madelyn Oliver had three hits and four RBI and North cruised to a Region 6-AAAAAA victory Tuesday on the road.

In total, North (8-12, 7-6) had 16 hits to Alpharetta’s three. Amber Jones and Brooke Wade each had two hits apiece, while Breena Gwaltney and Addie Harris each drove in two runs.

Johns Creek 5, West Forsyth 2

The Lady Wolverines dropped a Region 6-AAAAAA game Tuesday at home.

It was the fourth straight loss for West (10-11, 7-6) and dropped the Lady Wolverines into a tie for fourth place with North.


Forsyth Central sweeps

The Lady Bulldogs defeated North Springs (25-17, 25-20) and Sprayberry (25-13, 25-14) on Tuesday in Area 7-AAAAA matches.

Liepa Vaicekaviciute led Central (14-8, 3-1) with 12 kills. Sarah Whittington had nine kills to go along with six aces.

Amber Waddell had 26 digs, while Amber Walsh added 13 digs.

North Forsyth sweeps

The Lady Raiders defeated Alpharetta (25-21, 25-16) and Johns Creek (25-22, 26-24) on Tuesday in Area 6-AAAAAA matches.

The wins snapped a two-year drought for North (15-13, 2-4) in area matches.

South Forsyth sweeps

The Lady War Eagles defeated Lambert (25-22, 26-24) and Chattahoochee (22-25, 25-8, 25-18) on Tuesday in Area 6-AAAAAA matches.

Taylor Svehla led South (27-12, 7-0) with 24 kills.

West Forsyth sweeps

Taylor Ashcraft had 15 kills, 14 digs and six aces as the Lady Wolverines defeated Centennial (25-19, 25-17) and Habersham Central (25-10, 25-16) on Tuesday in Area 6-AAAAAA matches at home.

Chloe Lance had 12 kills for West (28-2, 5-1), while Shelby Lance added five kills and six blocks.

Jordan Leitch had 37 assists to go along with two kills, Gabby Bachner added 10 assists, while Danielle Menningman and Alyssa Robertson had 11 and 6 digs, respectively.
