ALPHARETTA – Peyton Miller had four goals as the Longhorns cruised to an Area 5-6/7A victory Tuesday on the road.
Benn O’Rourk and Ryan Overbay each added two goals for Lambert (x-x, x-x), while Gerard Kane had a goal and four assists, Kyle Lewis had a goal and three assists, and Jonny DiVirgilio and Christian Rhodes each scored a goal.
Donny Lilly led the defense with six caused turnovers, while Jack McClure had four. Logan Steele made five saves in goal, while Phil White won 13 of 15 faceoffs and Mitch Ganote had a team-best five groundballs.
Pinecrest Academy 17, North Forsyth 7
Ryan DiFazio had eight goals and two assists as the Paladins earned a non-area victory Tuesday at home.
Eli Karaki added two goals and three assists for Pinecrest (6-6, 2-2 Area 2-1/5A), while Robert Binkley had three goals and an assist.
West Forsyth 11, Dunwoody 7
James Grohovac had 12 groundballs as the Wolverines ended a brief two-game losing streak with a non-area victory Tuesday at home.
West improved to 8-4 overall and is 4-1 in Area 5-6/7A.

The Wolverines earned a Region 5-7A victory Tuesday on the road.
The win in penalty kicks put West (5-8-1, 4-4) in sole possession of third place in the region, a game ahead of Lambert (6-6-1, 3-5) and South (4-8-1, 3-5).
