Allie Hildbrandt scored two goals and the Forsyth Central girls soccer team’s compelling playoff run continued with a 3-1 victory against Effingham County on Wednesday at home in the second round of the Class AAAAA playoffs. The Lady Bulldogs (15-4) advanced to play Northgate on Saturday at home in the state quarterfinals at 1:30 p.m. Callie Fagan added a goal for Central, who led just 1-0 at the half but struck twice more in the second half before Effingham County scored with seven minutes left in the game.
