BOYS GOLF

South Forsyth at Adidas Invitational

WAYNESBORO – Josh Sargent shot an 80 as South Forsyth finished eighth out of 20 teams at the Taylormade/Adidas Invitational on Saturday.

Cameron Stokes shot an 81, William Kang shot 84 and Andrew Stephens shot an 86.

West Forsyth at Apple Mountain Invitational

CLARKESVILLE – Robert Shaw shot a 72 to lead West Forsyth to a top-10 finish at the Apple Mountain Invitational on Saturday.

Shaw made five birdies and an eagle, and the Wolverines shot a score of 314.

Connor Pullman and Drew Ridings both shot 78, Connor Ferri shot 86 and Zach Davis shot 91.

BOYS LACROSSE

Lambert 17, Greenville 4

GREENVILLE, S.C. – Hayden Barnes had three goals and the Longhorns cruised to a non-area victory Saturday on the road.

Conrad McEvoy, Eric Overbay, Matt O’Rourk and Hunter Shepherd each scored two goals for Lambert (4-0).

Trey Arnold had two goals and seven groundballs.

GIRLS LACROSSE

Lambert 14, Starr’s Mill 9

FAYETTEVILLE – Shelby Rumer had two goals, three assists and six draw controls as the Lady Longhorns remained unbeaten on the season with a non-area victory Saturday on the road.

Peyton Smith led Lambert (2-0) with four goals, and Jenna Humphries and Ali Wilson each had two goals.

Lambert at Need For Speed IV

LILBURN – Jonathan Schwind won the 1,500-meter run and finished second in the 1,200 to help the Longhorns finish seventh at the Need For Speed IV at Parkview on Friday.

The Longhorns also got strong performances from Mason Lord, who won the pole vault clearing 13 feet, Hank Grogan in the 800 (fourth, 2:03.31) and Sean Bailey in the shot put (fifth, 44-0.5).

North Forsyth at Need For Speed IV

LILBURN – Coleton Holzer finished third in the high jump to help the Raiders finish tied for eighth at the Need for Speed IV at Parkview on Friday.

Holzer cleared 5-10. Marcus Alavarez finished third in the 300 (38.24) and Spenser Velchek came in fourth in the pole vault (9-6).

South Forsyth at Eagle Icebreaker Invitational

SUWANEE – Quentin Campbell cleared 6 feet 2 inches to win the high jump and help the War Eagles come in ninth at the Eagle Icebreaker Invitational at Collins Hill on Saturday.

Ian Frazier was close behind Campbell, clearing 5-10 to finish fifth in the high jump.

West Forsyth at Eagle Icebreaker Invitational

SUWANEE – Miles Duncan won the 300-meter hurdles in 42.33 to lead the Wolverines to an 11th place finish at the Eagle Icebreaker Invitational at Collins Hill on Saturday.

Constantine Johnson also had a strong showing in the pole vault, finishing fifth by clearing 10-6.

GIRLS TRACK

Lambert at Need For Speed VI

LILBURN – Reagan Pasonski was runner-up in the high jump to help the Lady Longhorns come in ninth at Need For Speed VI at Parkview on Friday.

Pasonski cleared 5-0.

Lambert’s 800-meter relay team came in fourth in 1:51.28. Kaylee Stilwell finished fifth in the 1,500-meter run in 5:29.33.

North Forsyth at Need For Speed VI

LILBURN – Jessica Johnson won the long jump and finished third in the triple jump to help the Lady Raiders finish 13th at the Need For Speed VI at Parkview on Friday.

Johnson hit 16-7 to win the long jump and 34-4 in the triple jump.

Madison Booher finished fifth in the pole vault for North clearing 7-6.

South Forsyth at Eagle Icebreaker Invitational

SUWANEE – Savannah Carnahan won the 3,200-meter run in 11:28.32 at help the Lady War Eagles finish third at the Eagle Icebreaker Invitational at Collins Hill on Saturday.

Carnahan was followed by teammate Kaylee Dupont, who finished in 11:36.09 to place second.

Milicent Bergey finished second in the 1,600 (5:37.09), Savannah Ratcliff came in fourth in the 1,600 (5:37.24) and Ally Welch cleared 5-2 in the high jump to finish fifth.

South’s 3,200 relay team also impressed with a time of 9:54 to win the event.

West Forsyth at Eagle Icebreaker Invitational

SUWANEE – Courtney Canady swept the 100- and 300-meter hurdles to help the Lady Wolverines finish fifth at the Eagle Icebreaker Invitational at Collins Hill on Saturday.

Canady won the 100 hurdles in 16.09, while her time of 49.20 won the 300 hurdles. She also finished third in the long jump (16-1).

Liz Galarza also had a strong showing, finishing third in the 3,200 in 11:38.61. Kasey Brown finished fifth in the discus (86-10), while Chandler Randall came in fourth in the long jump (15-10).
