South Forsyth wrestling had six individual champions as the War Eagles won their own traditional-style event Saturday, the Santa Slam.
Sam Ranta (120 pounds), Charlie Ranta (126), Jackson Baraff (138), Felipe Hayes (152), Brennan McCrum (160) and Ian Hunt (195) each placed first for South, which finished with 257 team points, ahead of runner-up Chattahoochee which had 207.
Steven Braukman (106), Ben Lemay (132) and Logan Troye (182) also reached the finals for South.
The War Eagles also got strong performances from Joey Burke (182, third), Tyler Winne (138, third), Parker Disraeli (126, fourth), Arvin Khedmati (170, fourth), Trevor Patrick (220, fourth), James Porter (160, fourth) and Simon Osifo (145, fourth).

North goes 3-0 at Lambert Duals
Paul Watkins and Connor Carroll went undefeated and the Raiders were perfect Saturday at the Lambert Duals.
Watkins and Carroll each went 3-0 in North victories against Kennesaw Mountain (54-15), Newnan (62-11) and Lassiter (52-19).
Other strong performers for the Raiders were Connor Cross (2-0), Cole Tenety (2-0), Spencer Dooley (2-0), Nathan Grimes (2-0), Brantley Little (2-0), Andrew Leggett (2-0) and Jonathan Mercado (2-1).
Lambert hosts duals
Kyle Hall, Payton Mitchell and Robbie Powell each went undefeated as the Longhorns went 2-1 on Saturday at home.
Hall (152 pounds), Mitchell (113) and Powell (138) all were 3-0 on the day as Lambert got victories against Centennial (45-40) and Kennesaw Mountain (36-15) and lost to Newnan (42-30).
Will Kohlins also had a strong day at 170 pounds for the Longhorns.
West travels to Charlotte
CHARLOTTE – Troy Crawford and Denver Stonecheck placed second in their respective weight classes as the short-handed Wolverines placed sixth at the Fort Mill Invitational this past Saturday at Fort Mill High School near Charlotte.
Crawford made it to the finals at 138 pounds before losing to a defending state champion from Fort Hill, while Stonecheck reached the finals at 145 where he lost to Logan Piavia, the No. 1 wrestler in North Carolina from Lake Norman.
West also got strong performances from Hunter Jolly (285, third), Tyler Bunten (152, fourth) and Kaleb Sherman (170, fourth).
