Here are some of the best performances by Forsyth County high school football players from this past Friday.

THE BEST

Sports Editor Brian Paglia picks the three best performances by Forsyth County high school football players.

Ze’Vian Capers, South Forsyth: The sophomore wide receiver caught seven passes for 120 yards and two touchdowns in the War Eagles’ win at West.

Marcus Chatelain, Lambert: The senior running back rushed for 250 yards and four touchdowns on 33 carries and caught three passes for 27 yards in the Longhorns’ win at Central.

Cal Morris, South Forsyth: The senior quarterback was 12 of 17 passing for 208 yards and three touchdowns and rushed for 81 yards and a touchdown on 11 carries in the War Eagles’ win at West.

Chris Biba, Gabe Cleveland, Briggs Hutcheson, Noah Mallard, Jake Nitowski, South Forsyth: The War Eagles’ offensive linemen combined for 40 pancakes and paved the way for South’s 226 rushing yards in the War Eagles’ win at West.

Brendan Bibb, Lambert: The sophomore defensive lineman had six tackles in the Longhorns’ win at Central.

Justin Bruno, Lambert: The senior caught six passes for 137 yards and a touchdown in the Longhorns’ win at Central.

Jacob Bump, Forsyth Central: The senior defensive back had six tackles and a quarterback pressure in the Bulldogs’ loss to Lambert.

Hunter Cagle, Forsyth Central: The senior caught three passes for 44 yards, rushed once for nine yards

Jamal Camp, South Forsyth: The junior defensive lineman had four tackles, 0.5 sacks and nine quarterback pressures in the War Eagles’ win at West.

Bryce Christensen, Lambert: The senior kicker was 4-for-4 on extra points, 6-for-6 on touchbacks and averaged 48 yards on three punts in the Longhorns’ win at Central.

Nicholas Cribbs, Forsyth Central: The freshman defensive tackle had four tackles in the Bulldogs’ loss to Lambert.

Brice Davis, North Forsyth: The senior defensive back had five tackles in the Raiders’ loss at Milton.

Kenneth Dicks III, Lambert: The senior defensive back had three tackles, one interception, one forced fumble and one pass break-up in the Longhorns’ win at Central.

Ryan DiFazio, Pinecrest Academy: The sophomore quarterback threw for 293 yards and three touchdowns and rushed for another touchdown in the Paladins’ loss to Oglethorpe County.

Myles Ellis, South Forsyth: The senior defensive back had two tackles, two pass break-ups and an interception in the War Eagles’ win at West.

Dalton Edmunds, Forsyth Central: The junior wide receiver caught five passes for 53 yards in the Bulldogs’ loss to Lambert.

Jared Honey, South Forsyth: The senior running back rushed for 121 yards on 21 carries and caught one pass for a 46-yard touchdown in the War Eagles’ win at West.

Peter Hoover, Pinecrest Academy: The junior caught three passes for 97 yards and a touchdown and rushed for a 25-yard touchdown in the Paladins’ loss to Oglethorpe County.

Tristan Howard, North Forsyth: The senior wide receiver caught four passes for 49 yards and a touchdown in the Raiders’ loss at Milton.

Eli Huggins, West Forsyth: The sophomore linebacker had 11 tackles in the Wolverines’ loss to South.

Ian Hunt, South Forsyth: The senior defensive lineman had four quarterback pressures and a sack in the War Eagles’ win at West.

Ryan LaFlamme, South Forsyth: The senior defensive lineman had five tackles and a sack in the War Eagles’ win at West.
