Every spring, the Korean Undergraduate Student Association of the University of Georgia presents Korean Night, a celebration of Korean culture and history. Performances are selected in order to showcase the unique culture and traditions of Korea, and every year a select few performers from outside of the University are invited.

This year, World Champion TaeKwonDo, a popular martial arts studio located in Cumming at Midway Park on Post Road, was cordially invited to present an exhibition of Korean martial arts. Under the direction of Master Choi, World Champion Taekwondo’s Elite Demo Team performed choreography that engaged the audience from beginning to end.

“Starting with a synchronized form demonstration and culminating with Master Choi’s blindfolded board break, World Champion TaeKwonDo’s performance at the University of Georgia was definitely the act to remember,” said Jay Kwon, a University of Georgia, 2016 Honors Program Major in Biology and Psychology.
