Lambert 11, Northview 4

JD Dutka went 2-for-4 with a home run and five RBIs to lead the Longhorns to a Region 6-AAAAAA victory Tuesday at home.

Thomas Reddin got the win for Lambert (6-2, 3-1) in two innings of work. The Longhorns also got strong pitching from JJ Clements, Ben McCurley and Matt Vonderschmidt.

Kyle McCann went 2-for-3 with a home run and three RBI, while Seth Beer was 2-for-4 with a home run and two RBI.

Pinecrest Academy 11, Mt. Zion 6

Andres Perez went 2-for-3 with three RBI and the Paladins held on for a Region 6-A, Div. B victory Tuesday at home.

Todd Mahaffey got the win for Pinecrest, striking out five in six innings.

John Crone went 2-for-3 with two runs scored and a RBI, while Matt Walters had a hit, two runs scored and a RBI.


South Forsyth 15, Buford 0

The Lady War Eagles won their third straight Tuesday in a non-area game Tuesday on the road.

South (5-2, 2-0 Area 3-AAAAAA) earned its first shutout of the season.


Pinecrest Academy 10, St. Francis 0

Three players had hat-tricks as the Paladins cruised to a Region 6-A victory Tuesday on the road.

Logan Hamilton, Greg Metz and Ben Rivard scored three goals apiece for Pinecrest (3-3, 2-1).

Other scores: West Forsyth 6, Forsyth Central 0; Northview 6, North Forsyth 0.


West Forsyth 4, Forsyth Central 0

Carsen Parker scored three goals and the Lady Wolverines cruised to a non-region victory Tuesday on the road.

Madison Bowers added a goal for West (5-4, 2-1 Region 6-AAAAAA).

It snapped a two-game winning streak for Central (3-5, 2-1 Region 7-AAAAA, Div. B).

Pinecrest Academy 9, St. Francis 0

Five different players scored for the Lady Paladins in a Region 6-A victory Tuesday on the road.

Pinecrest (3-4, 2-2) got two goals each from Miranda Correa, Erin Houlihan, Mary Margaret Metz and Jessica Satriano.

Katie Edwards added a goal for the Lady Paladins.

Other scores: Northview 1, North Forsyth 0.
