Logan Miller was as clutch as West Forsyth boys basketball needed him to be.

The guard went to the free throw line with 3.1 seconds left and the score tied with North Forsyth. Miller missed the first free throw but made the second, and the Wolverines held on for a 51-50 victory Tuesday at home in a Region 6-AAAAAA game.

John Conway led West (10-12, 6-6) with 21 points. Nick Staiti added 14 points, while Miller had 12 points.

The Wolverines return to action Thursday at Chattahoochee.

Pinecrest Academy 69, Yeshiva 45: The Paladins cruised to a non-region victory at home.

Nick Palmer led Pinecrest (9-14, 7-5 Region 8-A) with 18 points. Michael Bruckner added 11 points, eight rebounds and five steals, and Sean Flanigan scored 11 points.

The Paladins return to action Friday at Commerce.

Pope 64, Forsyth Central 55: The Greyhounds spoiled Senior Night for the Bulldogs in a Region 7-AAAAA game at home.

Central senior Jeremiah Jones scored a team-high 12 points, while Eli Brown added nine points for the Bulldogs (8-15, 2-11).

Chattahoochee 44, South Forsyth 37: The War Eagles dropped a Region 6-AAAAAA game at home.

Kevin Sullivan led South (4-14, 3-8) with 12 points. Chandler Cotter added eight points.

Centennial 52, Lambert 50: The Longhorns dropped their first Region 6-AAAAAA game of the season.

Lambert fell to 19-5 overall and 12-1 in the region.
