Two Forsyth County volleyball players – Lambert setter/outside hitter Ally Hall and North Forsyth outside hitter Maddie Bryant – made the Georgia Volleyball Coaches Association All-State team.
Hall was a well-rounded weapon for the Longhorns, who won the Area 5-7A title and reached the state quarterfinals, where they lost to Mill Creek. The sophomore led Lambert with 457 kills and 252 digs and was second on the team with 535 assists.
Bryant, a senior committed to play at Georgia Southern, had 707 kills for the Raiders, leading the team to a 5-0 record during the area regular season and a spot in the state quarterfinals, where North lost to Newnan.
South Forsyth outside hitter Hannah McGlockton, North libero Marin Black and Lambert middle Madeleine Bertz were named honorable mention. McGlockton led the War Eagles with 352 kills and helped put the team in the state quarterfinals; Black had 640 digs, the top mark in the area; and Bertz, a William & Mary commit, had an area-leading 100 blocks.
