The body of James Don Lindsey, age 46, of Cumming, was found by DNR game wardens around 11 a.m., Sunday, Dec. 19, according to DNR spokesman Mark McKinnon.
Lindsey was in the water to work on his boat at Mary Alice Park on Thursday, Dec. 16, when he went under and did not resurface.
DNR game wardens, the Forsyth County Sheriff’s Office and U.S. Army Corps of Engineers personnel have been searching since Thursday.
The DNR were able to locate Lindsey using sector scan sonar and was recovered using the remote-operated vehicle, or ROV, according to McKinnon.
