Georgia Power opens new Cumming office

CUMMING — Georgia Power recently held a ribbon cutting to mark the opening of its new business office at 1648 Market Place Boulevard in Cumming.

The office, which replaces the former one on North Main Street in Cumming, is aimed at improving customer convenience and access.

It offers a full suite of customer services, including account management, bill payment assistance, metering services and energy efficiency advice.

For the ceremony, Georgia Power Region Manager Doug Jenkins and employees were joined by Cumming Mayor Ford Gravitt, Forsyth County Commission Chairman Pete Amos, state Sen. Michael Williams, state Rep. Sheri Gilligan, and James McCoy, President and CEO of the Cumming-Forsyth Chamber of Commerce.
